The “Big D” (Dallas) is known for doing things in a BIG way. From shopping malls to sports facilities to endless and expanding suburbs to the biggest State Fair in the country — the city always manages to make an impression on guests and residents alike. And one of the best ways in which it impresses is through it’s variety of food offerings — namely, the diversity of specialty burger joints.
Almost every local knows about Whataburger, Village Burger Bar, Kenny’s Burger Joint, Mooyah, and even In N Out since it’s arrival a few years back. But a few places are taking the burger love to a whole different level.
After an extensive, no doubt sacrificial search, D Magazine has published an excellent review of the best places to satisfy your craving for THE culinary gift that keeps on giving — the hamburger.
You can check out the article by D Magazine’s Burger Editor David Hale Smith in their September issue here: Why Dallas is the Burger Capital of the World
And then make sure to study their burger guide here: Dallas Burger Guide
Or, better yet, if you’re in the DFW area, the magazine is available at newsstands and bookstores across the region. Pick one up, use it like a guidebook and joyfully watch your cholesterol numbers climb.
